Any Butter Blondies
Chewy, fudgy, sweet and nutty, with notes of toffee. Our twist on blondies includes nutrient-dense nut or seed butter to create a fudgy texture and rich, toasty flavour.
Yield: 12-16 blondies
INGREDIENTS
½ cup unsalted butter or coconut oil
½ cup Nuts to You nut or seed butter of choice (we like Rainforest and Peanut Butter)
1 cup packed light brown sugar
¼ tsp salt
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
Flaky salt, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350⁰F. Line an 8”x8” baking pan with parchment paper.
In a pot over medium heat, melt butter or coconut oil with nut or seed butter of choice and whisk until liquid and smooth. Add sugar, salt, egg and vanilla and mix well.
Add flour and fold with a spatula until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
Add the batter to the pan and flatten the surface with the spatula. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until just the edges of the blondies are golden brown. Garnish immediately with flaky salt. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before slicing and enjoying.
Blondies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
