Chocolate PB Smoothie Bowl

An awesome ice cream replacement, this easy recipe whips up in the blender in minutes, providing a satisfying sweetness without added sugar.


Yield: 2 servings

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large frozen bananas, cut into chunks

  • 1 cup milk of choice

  • 3 Tbsp Nuts to You Peanut Butter Smooth

  • 2 Tbsp cocoa powder

  • Pinch sea salt

  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

  • Optional toppings: chia, flax or hemp seeds, fresh fruit

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine frozen banana and milk in a blender on high speed until smooth. If more milk is needed, add as little as possible to ensure a thick, “soft-serve” consistency.

  2. Add Peanut Butter, cocoa powder, salt and vanilla. Blend until fully combined.

  3. Pour into two bowls and garnish with your favourite toppings.

  4. Serve immediately.
