Seedy Swirl Chocolate Bark

This healthy treat is a joy to make and can be adapted to suit whatever you have in your pantry for your toppings!

Yield: 12-15 pieces

INGREDIENTS

  • ¼ cup Nuts to You seed butter (we’re using Pumpkin Seed Butter)

  • 4 Tbsp coconut oil, divided in half

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

  • 2 cups chocolate chips

  • ½ cup mixed seeds of choice, roasted

  • Flaky salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a double boiler, melt Pumpkin Seed Butter, 2 Tbsp of coconut oil and maple syrup. Pour the mixture into another bowl and set aside.

  3. In the double boiler, melt the chocolate chips and the remaining 2 Tbsp of coconut oil.

  4. Pour the melted chocolate onto the parchment paper in an even layer; you can tap the tray on the counter to help level out the chocolate.

  5. Pour the seed butter mixture on the chocolate, making lines with it across the chocolate. Using the back of a utensil, swirl the mixtures together by dragging it through the lines to incorporate them.

  6. Sprinkle the mixed seeds and flaky salt over top, and chill in the freezer for at least 30 minutes or until fully hardened.

  7. Once hard, break the bark into pieces. Enjoy directly out of the freezer for the best texture.
