Tropical Green Smoothie
This recipe is designed to complement the greens, not mask them (because we all know we taste them anyway), and fill you up with healthy fats from the Rainforest Butter and avocado!
Yield: 1 serving
INGREDIENTS
½ banana, frozen
1 cup pineapple chunks, frozen
1 cup chopped kale
1½ Tbsp Nuts to You Rainforest Butter (Cashew Butter is a good substitute)
½ small avocado
½ cup milk of choice (we like coconut)
Squeeze of lime juice
1 tsp honey (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
Place all the ingredients in a blender on high speed until everything is fully incorporated and only small flecks of kale remain, about 1 minute. Add more milk if needed.
Serve immediately in a glass or in a bowl with your favourite garnishes.
