Yogurt Bowl Formula

Protein, healthy fats and fun! What more could you ask for in a quick breakfast or snack? Our formula will make sure your yogurt bowl is equal parts satisfying and visually appetizing.


Yield: 1 serving

INGREDIENTS

  • ¾ cup yogurt of choice (If using unsweetened yogurt, add 1–2 tsp honey or maple syrup for sweetness and ½ tsp vanilla extract)

  • ¼ cup crunchy topping such as granola, puffed rice cereal or toasted coconut chips

  • ½ cup fresh fruit such as sliced bananas, apples, peaches or berries

  • 2 Tbsp Nuts To You Plus butter of choice

  • Small toppings such as sprinkles, chocolate chips, ground flaxseeds, chia seeds, cacao nibs, graham cracker pieces, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the yogurt in a bowl and stir in the sweetener, if desired.

  2. Arrange your crunchy topping of choice in rows or small piles, followed by the fresh fruit. We find it looks nice to be able to see each ingredient.

  3. Add the Nuts to You Plus butter in splotches here and there.

  4. Lastly, place your small toppings over top. Dig in!

VARIATION IDEAS

  • Berry cheesecake: Use ½ cup berries, ¼ cup granola, and 1-2 crushed graham crackers with Nuts To You Organic Mixed Nut Butter + Seeds or Almond Butter + Pecan and Hazelnut Crunch 

  • Chocolate peanut butter cup: Mix 1 Tbsp of cocoa powder into the yogurt, use 1 sliced banana, peanuts and chocolate chips with Nuts to You Organic Smooth Peanut Butter + Salt or Peanut Butter + Pistachio and Pecan Crunch

  • Tropical: Use kiwi, mango and/or pineapple, granola and coconut chips with Nuts to You Cashew Butter + Macadamia and Pistachio Crunch
