Nutty Caramel Date Dip

Delicious, and easy to make! Use as a dip for fruit, a topping for oatmeal, yogurt or toast, or a flavour booster in smoothies and shakes.

Yield: 1 cup

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Medjool dates (approximately 8-10 whole large dates)
  • ⅓ cup Nuts to You Almond Butter
  • ¼ cup boiled water
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Slice dates in half and remove pits.
  2. Melt coconut oil if solid.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until very smooth, about 2 minutes.
  4. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
