Cashew Caesar Dressing


When you’re craving caesar salad, try our tangy plant-based dressing. You’ll never guess it’s made with our creamy Cashew Butter.
Yield: 3/4 cup
INGREDIENTS
- ¼ cup Nuts to You Cashew Butter (Tahini works as an alternative)
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice (about ½ large lemon)
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 2 Tbsp hot water (add more for thinner consistency)
- 1 small garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp capers
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce or tamari
- Pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Whisk together all the ingredients until smooth. Taste and adjust seasonings.
- Toss with romaine lettuce and top with bacon crumbles and croutons, if desired.
- Dressing keeps for five days in the fridge.
