Dairy-Free Herb & Garlic Cream Cheese

Our dairy-free version of this popular spread is full of flavour and protein. Slather on toasted bagels and sandwiches or add to a veggie plate for a super satisfying snack you can feel great about.

Yield: Approx. 2 cups

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 450 g package firm tofu
  • 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • ΒΌ cup Nuts to You Sunflower Seed Butter (Cashew Butter would be a good substitute)
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Freshly cracked pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh chives

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine all the ingredients except the chives in a high speed blender or food processor. Blend until fully smooth, scraping down the sides a few times to make sure everything is incorporated.
  2. Fold in chopped chives and serve.
  3. Can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up 7 days.
